Robert Hallenbeck is Vice President and General Counsel for Becton, Dickinson and Company.
Hallenbeck has overall responsibility for the Company's Law Group, Government Relations, Ethics and Business Practices, and Environmental Affairs and Safety. Hallenbeck joined Becton Dickinson in 1987 as a Patent Attorney, and spent six years in several roles of increasing responsibility in the Intellectual Property Department. In 1993, he was named Associate General Counsel and in February 1999 was named Assistant General Counsel.
Robert Hallenbeck received an undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University. He holds a Master of Science degree in Biology and a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University.
