CommuniTech.Net is one of the world's most successful Web hosting companies, with 24,000 clients in 130 countries. Gabe Murphy and Brian Heitman started the company in 1997 while Murphy was attending Cornell University and Heitman was in high school. The business plan for the company was born when Murphy enrolled in a course in entrepreneurship. Gabe Murphy received his B.S. from Cornell University in 1999.
Well, it was tough back when we went to the bank in early 2000 because we had this year '98 where revenues were $400,000, '99 where they were $2 million so we only had those two years there.
