From 1997 until joining CCTEC in 1999, John was President of Aureus, Inc., a management consulting firm. The firm focused on technology start-up companies. Prior to starting Aureus, Inc., John was president of Brenner Home & Garden, a full-service landscaping and construction company serving central New York State for nine years.
John received a B.S. in plant science from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. in science education from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
