I started saving really young because I had to pay for college too, but I would say about 22, I started setting aside for retirement. So, to the point where I had 3 years of salary set aside and kept adding to that and I lived a good life; I did not suffer but you pay attention to what you're doing...(Full transcript available to logged in subscribers.).
