Lily Liu is the Founder and CEO of PublicStuff. PublicStuff is an online platform that connects people and local governments to increase civic participation in communities across the nation. They provide tools to both citizen and government users, so they can effectively communicate and influence things that affect the quality of their daily lives.
Lily has been working around public policy issues at the local and national level for over 10 years. She has been passionate about working for and around public sector issues and has a deep understanding of what government needs and abilities are. Lily has worked with Mayor Bloomberg's Special Projects & Analytics Unit in the Department of Education, a $20B organization. Prior to that, she worked in the City of Long Beach, CA the Transportation Security Administration in Washington, D.C.
Lily Liu received a BS and MS in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MS in Policy from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
I was out in Long Beach, California and during my three year stint there I was assigned to work on a communications overhaul.
