<p>Baseema Banoo Krkoska is the Business Librarian at Albert R. Mann Library, Cornell University. Vijay R. Vashee is currently employed at Cronus Ventures, LLC. From 1982 until October 2001, Mr. Vashee served in various senior marketing, product management, and executive positions at Microsoft. He recently served as the General Manager of the Information Technology Group at Microsoft Corporation. Mr. Vashee also served as the General Manager for Microsoft Project from 1988 to 1992 and as the General Manager for Power Point from 1992 to 1997. As General Manager for Project, he developed and executed the strategy that resulted in Project's market share going from number four to number one. Having begun career at Microsoft in 1982, Mr. Vashee led marketing and product launch efforts for Microsoft's core applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, as well as ancillary products such as Microsoft's Flight Simulator and Microsoft Mouse. In addition, he set up the first Microsoft ISV program recruiting Lotus, Ashton-Tate, Software Publishing, and any others to support Windows.

Between 1990 and 1993, Mr. Vashee helped Click2learn, Inc. drive sales of Microsoft Project from $5 million to $100 million. Later, he played a key role in the acquisition of PowerPoint's creator, Forethought, Inc. and the integration of PowerPoint into the Microsoft Office suite. As a General Manager for PowerPoint, Mr. Vashee grew the business from $100 million to $600 million in total annual revenue.

He was a founding President of The Indus Entrepreneurs, Seattle. Mr. Vashee has been a Director of Click2learn since July 2001 and also serves as a Member of its Audit Committee. He was a Member of Advisory Board at Instantis, Inc. Mr. Vashee also served as Director of SumTotal Systems Inc. He served as a Board Member of IntelliPrep. Mr. Vashee is a Trustee of The Indus Entrepreneurs, Seattle.

Mr. Vashee holds a B.Tech from I.I.T. Bombay, an M.S.E.E. from Cornell University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
