After Scott graduated from Luther College in 2001, he spent four years in Europe obtaining a masters degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation from the University of Tromsø, Norway, teaching English in Spain, and teaching political philosophy and methodology in Norway. While teaching he helped create an online network connecting peace researchers around the world.

David Sprague is President and senior partner of tax and accounting firm, Sprague and Janowsky. Formerly known as Hollander Sprague & Co., the company was formed in 1976 and he joined as a staff accountant in 1979.
In addition to his role at Sprague and Janowsky, David is a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Society of Accountants, and Estate Planning Council of Tompkins County. He has also been involved with the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation where he consulted with low-income, non-profit housing agencies in Syracuse, Buffalo, Utica, Norwich, Salamanca, Hudson and Rochester.

He is a current Member of the Board of Tompkins County Empire Zone Administration Board and current Chair of the Audit Committee for Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga BOCES.

Ryan McCarthy is an Associate at Ceres Hospitality, LLC. He has over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry including operations, branding, strategic planning, and real estate transactions.
Prior to his role at Ceres, McCarthy was the finance manager for startup apparel company, Hugh Simms. In this role, McCarthy created the legal, financial, and logistical structure of the company, sourced all materials and managed manufacturing and vendor relationships and handled all equity and debt accounts.

Modern-day explorer and expedition guide Eric Larsen's life epitomizes adventure. A polar adventurer, dog musher and educator, he has spent the past 15 years of his life traveling in some of the most remote and wild places left on earth.
In 2006, Eric and Lonnie Dupre completed the first ever summer expedition to the North Pole. During this journey, the duo pulled and paddled specially modified canoes across 550 miles of shifting sea ice and open ocean. Eric successfully led his first expedition to the South Pole in 2008, covering nearly 600 miles in 41 days. Eric is now one of only a few Americans in to have skied to both the North and South Poles.
In November 2009, Eric returned to Antarctica for the first leg of his world record Save the Poles expedition. This time he completed a 750-mile ski traverse to the geographic South arriving on January 2, 2010. Two short months later he was dropped off at northern Ellesmere Island for a winter-style North Pole Journey. The international team reached the North Pole 51 days later on Earth Day April 22, 2010.
Eric's other expeditions include dog sledding in the Canadian Arctic, training trips to Hudson Bay and countless dog sled races (including the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon). He has summited Mt. McKinley, ridden his bike across the United States, been a backcountry ranger in Alaska and a white water canoe guide in Colorado. Eric has dedicated his adult life to sharing his love for the outdoor world with others. As an educator, Eric strives to connect people to places and issues. In recognition of those efforts, Eric was elected as one of Outside Magazine's Eco All Stars in 2008. He was also inducted as a member of the Explorer's Club based in New York City.
Eric travels extensively giving motivational and educational lectures to schools, universities, non profit organizations and corporate groups. He is currently planning a book and documentary about the Save the Poles expedition.
Eric splits his time between Boulder, Colorado and Grand Marais, Minnesota.
Sheila Penrose is a Director of three corporate boards: McDonald's, Jones Lang LaSalle, and DataCard Group. She is Chairman of the Board of Jones Lang LaSalle, chairs two board committees and serves on five others. Sheila co-founded and co-chairs Corporate Leadership Center (CLC), a partnership between major corporations and academic institutions to augment and accelerate the development of corporate leaders and advance business leadership practices. Sheila formerly served on the boards of Nalco Chemical and eFunds Corp and was Executive Advisor to Boston Consulting Group. A frequent speaker on leadership and governance issues, she keynoted the Strategic Management Society's global conference. Sheila was the first woman named to Northern Trust Corporation's management committee and, from 1994 to 2000, President of Corporate and Institutional Services, a billion dollar business with client assets of $1.5 trillion in more than 80 markets worldwide. Under her leadership, the business was transformed from a product organization to one organized around client segments, and net income grew 17% annually. She represented Northern Trust with the investor community, oversaw several acquisitions and drove the bank's global expansion. Prior to Northern Trust Corporation, Sheila was an economic advisor to the British Treasury, a member of the negotiating team for the IMF agreement and advisor on budget policy and anti-inflation strategies in the aftermath of the world oil crisis in the 1970's. She began her career as a lecturer in Economics at Central London Polytechnic, United Kingdom. Sheila Penrose received her undergraduate degree in economics and graduate diploma in education from University of Birmingham, England. She also holds a Masters degree from London School of Economics and Political Science.

Today, Welch Allyn is a 100% family-owned company,employing some 2,800 people worldwide. Welch Allyn is a recognized leader in Medical devices, producing instruments ranging from blood pressure gauges and stethoscopes to wireless cardiac monitoring equipment.
Allyn began his career at Welch Allyn in 1982, and worked in a variety of functions through the company, including US and international sales, marketing, business development, product management and executive management. He spent more than five years abroad running various businesses, with responsibilities in both Europe and Asia. He now serves on Welch Allyn's board of directors, and is chairman of the company's voting trust. He chairs the investment committee at the Allyn Foundation, serves on the board of the Gifford Foundation, is chairman of the board of Auburn Memorial Hospital, and is a board member of the Hospital Trustees of New York State. In addition, Allyn is the managing partner of several private investment funds. He is a former board member of Hand Held Products, Inc. (eventually sold to Honeywell) and Everest-VIT (eventually sold to GE).
Allyn attended Dartmouth College, and earned an MBA from University of Virginia. He lives in Skaneateles with his wife Meg O'Connell and their three daughters.

Educated in engineering at Cornell and with an MBA from Wharton, he holds a number of distinctions including Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Family Firm Institute (FFI). He is co-author, with Blair Trippe, of Deconstructing Conflict: Understanding Family Business, Shared Wealth and Power.
Bianca Jade Taxman is the Founder of MizzFIT which focuses on delivering fashionable fitness apparel and accessories.
Prior to MizzFit, Taxman worked as a creative art director for Ogilvy and Mather, Saatchi and Saatchi, Chiat Day and several other boutique ad shops.
In late 2009, along with Teen Vogue fitness editor Eva Chen, Taxman was invited by Nike to join their Global Influencer Panel and speak about the role of fitness and fashion in the lives of young women. She's also appeared on the Dr. Manny Show on Fox television as well as NBC's Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda.
