MineWerks' detection technology is being developed at a time when over 2,000 people are being killed or maimed by buried landmines and other explosives each month. Competing technologies are far too expensive, time-consuming, and hazardous to personnel on the ground to be capable of addressing the worldwide threat of unexploded ordinances in a meaningful way.

Meyers is a founder of Quiznos, the second-largest sandwich chain in the United States. Launched in Denver during the early 1980s, Quiznos grew from 18 units in 1990 to 40 in 1993, when the company went public. Quiznos' founders took the company private in 2001 at 1,400 units, and it has since grown to over 5,000 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, and other countries. The chain is all franchised, with the majority of franchisees being single-unit owner-operators.
Meyers has helped drive Quiznos' growth through his service in a range of leadership positions. At various times since its founding, he has led the company's Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources and Law functions. He is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Ken Migliorelli is the owner of Migliorelli Farm. Migliorelli Farm is a family-run fruit and vegetable farm located in Northern Dutchess County in the Hudson Valley Region of New York. Originating in the Bronx in 1933 when Angelo Migliorelli first brought the broccoli raab seeds when he immigrated to New York from the Lazio region of Italy. Migliorelli and his son, Rocco peddled their vegetables by horse and cart up and down the Bronx, sun up to sun down. Eventually Co-Op City was to be built therefore pushing the last of the farmers out of the Bronx. Farming was Rocco's passion so he brought his family to the Hudson Valley. Now in its 3rd generation, Migliorelli Farm is growing over 130 different varieties of fruits and vegetables, including the same strain of broccoli raab.
