Gil Crawford is the CEO of MicroVest Capital Management. He has over 20 years experience with microfinance institutions and capital markets and has worked extensively in Latin America and Africa, as well as in Asia. MicroVest Capital Management is the first private microfinance investment firm in the United States. Crawford has grown the company from a single $30MM debt and equity fund to a global microfinance intermediary, most recently originating and servicing a $39MM collateralized loan obligation with Lehman Brothers and acting as a sub-advisor to eBay's MicroPlace.
Previously, Crawford worked for the Latin American Financial Markets Division at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and focused on investments in microfinance institutions. Prior to joining IFC, Mr. Crawford created and ran Seed Capital Development Fund, a US based non-profit firm, involved in creating financial instruments and attracting funds to capitalize microfinance institutions, primarily in Latin America, Asia and Africa.
Before founding SCDF, Crawford was the Assistant Project Director for Africa Venture Capital Project, a $7.1 million USAID contract designed to create risk capital firms in Africa. Crawford received his bank training at Chase Manhattan Bank in the mid-80's after working in Africa for the Red Cross and State Department.

Robert Creeden is Managing Director of the Center for Innovative Ventures (CIV) at Partners Healthcare, where he oversees the creation and launching of new ventures generated from Partners innovative research discoveries.
Bob has spent more than twenty-five years focusing on commercializing new technologies and promoting emerging businesses, including fifteen years early stage venture capital investing experience and culminating in his 2004 appointment by Partners to establish the CIV. Previously, he was a general partner at Egan-Managed Capital, a $150 million dollar Boston-based venture fund, after having served as vice president of the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation, a 25-year-old early stage venture firm that funds technology-based companies in Massachusetts. Earlier in his career, he gained strategic operating expertise as a COO/CFO with start-up ventures and as a management consultant with Control Data Business Advisors.

Michael Crooke's passion for the environment and the outdoors has been with him for many years. Every position that he has taken in his career has been in an outdoor company and his current position as CEO of Patagonia, Inc. and Patagonia's parent company Lost Arrow Corporation is no different.
Following his undergraduate education, Crooke's career in the outdoor world started with jobs at Yakima and Moonstone Mountaineering. He worked as general manager at Kelty Packs for several years and then became CEO/chairman of Pearl Izumi (a Colorado based cycling apparel company) before he joined Patagonia in 1999. Crooke's environmental thinking is a perfect match with Patagonia and he now acts as an entrepreneur within the company. He creatively runs a multi-million dollar company while working toward environmental sustainability within and beyond the company.

Meghan Cross is a Managing Director at Red Bear Angels. She has nearly a decade of operating experience launching and growing media & software companies in New York and Silicon Valley. As an early Director at StyleCaster Inc., Meghan led the digital media conglomerate’s marketing team through the business’ exit to She Knows Media. Prior, Meghan was in Public Relations, helping to build such brands as Skype and Foursquare into household names. She draws venture experience from working with Bowery Capital, Foundation Capital, Metamorphic Ventures, and StarVest Partners, where she analyzed potential investments and provided portfolio value-add. She is the founder of Cross Venture Services LLC, a launch advisor to such commerce platforms as Sailo (TechStars ’15), Shareswell, and Thursday Boot Co. Meghan Cross received her B.S. in Fiber & Textile Science from Cornell University and M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, where she co-led of the school’s entrepreneurship program and was Steve Blank’s teaching assistant for The Lean Launchpad.

Brendan Cullen is Vice President for Growth and Innovation at Education Pioneers He joined Education Pioneers to help build a pipeline of diverse leaders in the education sector. Cullen served as Education Pioneers' first Bay Area managing director from 2005-2008, and currently oversees organizational growth and new initiatives.
He began his career in education as a middle school language arts teacher in Baltimore, Maryland through Teach for America. Cullen later worked as a founding campus director for Citizen Schools, a non-profit after-school program based in Boston. Before moving to the Bay Area, Cullen served as director of the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) Scholars program in New York City and a project manager for the New York City Department of Education's Empowered Schools Initiative.

The Currie Farm is a partnership among 3 brothers; John Currie Jr., Nathan Currie and H. Thomas Currie. John Currie, the eldest brother, has been managing the farm since 1982 after graduating from high school.
As of 1982, the farm's milking herd numbered 120. Today the farm milks 700 cows, raises 800 youngstock and crops 1500 acres to support them.
The farm's mission is to produce high quality forages for their animals since the Curries strongly believe everything else will fall into place behind that. On this family farm the partners' children are also an integral part of the farm through their involvement in chores and showing their cattle.
